Welcome to this delightful converted barn in our own piece of paradise. “La Margoy” is situated on a quiet hillside in the “Vallee-du-Lot”, Aveyron, South Western France, with far reaching and uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape. It is just 5 miles from the picturesque town of Entraygues-sur-Truyere. Having spent many years holidaying in various parts of France, Selina and I decided to settle here as we believe the area is beautiful and the people are very friendly and welcoming.
Entraygues lies at the junction of the Truyere and the Lot rivers. They join just below the chateau and become the Lot, which then starts its journey to the sea flowing through the “Vallee du Lot”.
“La Margoy” was originally an old farm dating from the 17th century with the new additions added in 1857. The farmhouse and Grange have been lovingly restored using only local highly skilled artisans, so that the Grange now provides high quality holiday accommodation in this unique and picturesque setting.
