PHILIPPE’S PLACE

If “The Grange at La Margoy” does not suit you for whatever reason, have a look at Philippe’s house. It enjoys a similar situation, sleeps 4-6, but does not have a pool and so it is cheaper.
Philippe and Sylvie, the owners, live in Versailles and this is their second home, which they rent for a few weeks in the summer season. The property is a typical, French rustic second home in the country.

Entry is via the ancient front door into the hall. Immediately on your left are the steep stairs to the second double sleeping area. (Do not try to ascend the stairs if you have imbibed too much local vin rouge).

Next to the stairs is the door to the study, then the bathroom and finally the separate wc.
The hall continues into the open plan living/dining area with the small kitchen off it. The kitchen has a stand-alone cooker and fridge with places for numerous pots and pans. From the kitchen you can access the terrace with lovely views over the “vallee du lot”.

Also from the living area a typical wooden staircase, which leads to the first floor with a TV/sitting area with single bed, this is opposite to the door to the second double bedroom.
